I have several watches including a 10-year-old Fossil I bought in a watch store in London that still works amazingly well. However, it was in the market for a casual style matte black large face chronograph style watch. This watch fits that bill. It’s a big face watch at 50mm but it’s not too large to look silly and unlike my other black on black watches, this one is easy to view the time at night (I couldn’t read the smaller chronograph dials at night, however). The very cool watch works with casual and dress attire with a matte black paint and military style influence. My only criticism was there was no manual describing how to use the chronograph features but it works like most Chrono watches so it was easy to figure out. Great price, great watch from Fossil.

I’m a large guy and a weight lifter. A puny watch doesn’t look good on me. Most men’s watches look like I stole them from a small woman. This watch ROCKS. It’s BIG! And, it’s heavy as watches go. It feels strong and durable. Easy to read! Simple; I don’t like watch faces that look like the instrument panel of a 757. Watches are to measure time and this one does it beautifully. This is my first Fossil. Bought my wife one years ago and she still loves it. When I saw this one, I had to try it! A BIG watch for a BIG wrist with the quality of Fossil! Haven’t had it swimming yet, but I’m sure a Fossil won’t disappoint me.

I read some of the reviews that were left and found that some people were unhappy as their watch was not truly a fossil. However, mine came 2 days ahead of schedule and when I opened the package, I found a fossil tin with a genuine fossil watch inside. I love it, it’s big, it’s heavy, and thus far keeps time well. Quoting the guy in Jurassic Park who gets eaten in “if it’s heavy it’s expensive”. I’m not sure what button those other people clicked on when purchasing this watch but mine came as expected and am very pleased with it.
